Melanie and Simon Buckley have both just finished playing in the World Youth Championships in Spain.
Melanie scored 6½/11 in the Girls' under-18 section, finishing equal 13th. Simon went a half point better in the Boys' under-14's and finished equal tenth.
A fine performance from the Bath-based siblings who finished well above their expected places.
