The Bristol and Clifton Chess Recorder - an 1896 game

The following are reproductions of two pages from a Bristol and Clifton Recorder, originally the possession of a Mr E.A. Graves of Taunton. The game is an 1896 correspondence game against a Commander W.L. Martin. It started on 8th April and was over by 25th May, demonstrating that the postal service was considerably faster than today's. The pieces on the diagram were hand drawn by Mr. Graves. The pages are shown approximately two thirds of actual size.
