Bristol won both matches at the Cardiff 4NCL weekend to haul itself up the table. On Saturday the team beat the powerful Wood Green 4½ - 3½ and the following day they beat Na Fiana 5½ - 2½. Chris Baker beat Na Fiana's GM Danny King on top board.
