Osborne is the new Bristol Champion

Dave Osborne of Grendel took the Bristol Champion title for the first time last night (2 Feb), on tie-break.

Dave tied for first place with two others: Chris Beaumont (Hanham) and Simon Ansell (University). It was one of the toughest competitions in years, as shown when the two top seeds, Ansell and Chris Baker, were defeated in the first round. Leading positions in each section appear below.
