Graham Mill-Wilson won the merged Minor section of the League Section after managing to win his 4th round encounter against Geoff Gammon even though for a long spell he was a Whole Rook down and a number of pawns. Tom Thorpe had to recover from an 11 move loss in Round One after neglecting the f7 square in a Smith-Morra.
