Chris Beaumont 4½/5 was firing on all cylinders last weekend as he dealt with the threat of Alex Therrien and James Cobb ( fresh from achieving an IM Norm over in the South Wales Masters )

The Congress venue proved a success with over 90 entrants competing in four sections and a generous list of Prize money on offer.  Even the weather showed its kindness over the weekend as a taste of summer arrived on the harbourside.
