Player Registration Form: 2006 - 07 seasonEach League club is required to register six players per team at least 48 hours prior to that club’s first match of the season. Please fill in the names of the players for each team in your club in the boxes below and overleaf. Clubs are reminded that the registration of players does not absolve them from their general duty to assist the League by sporting and ethical behaviour. Please bear in mind the following points: · The players registered for a team should be those players who are intended to play for the full season. Where a player is only available part of the time an extra person should be registered, either at the start of the season or as soon as the player starts to become unavailable. · Where new players join a club, or players return for occasional matches, those players should play in a division which suits their strength even though they may technically be able to play in lower divisions. · Allocation of players to teams should be done in approximate order of playing strength, although there may perhaps be some overlap between the top boards of a team and the bottom of the next. Teams in the same division may split their strength, but the higher ranked team should be the stronger overall. New players are automatically registered for your club on inclusion of their names on a match result form, but you may ‘reserve’ players by registering them on this form for the lowest team of your club. If you have any players who did not play for your club last season but have a grading through playing for another club, please include their previous club in brackets by their name, so that the grading officer can get his records in order.
